Maksym Toropov

About

I build high-performance web and mobile applications for enterprise clients ($10M–$500M+ revenue) across healthcare, financial services, education, and industrial platforms.

Over the past decade at Speed & Function, I've achieved 30%+ performance improvements across production apps serving 100K+ users, built reusable component libraries and design systems, and worked with cross-functional teams of 4–8 developers.

Currently expanding into AI-augmented development — leveraging AI coding tools and prompt engineering to accelerate delivery and build smarter user interfaces.

Originally from Ukraine, now based in Vancouver. When I'm not writing code, you'll find me kitesurfing, snowboarding, or bikepacking through BC trails. Recently became a dad — my greatest deployment yet. My parents once said, “You love computers? Go study that.” Best advice I ever got.
